cultivation and maintenance of recombinant strains of <em>Escherichia coli<\/em> and is used for nearly all applications that require a liquid bacterial culturing step, such as protein expression, cloning, and expansion.<\/p>\n<p>Instant LB with or without antibiotics can also be used for selective culture of antibiotic-resistant strains of E. coli.<\/p>\n<p>This can be used for non-selective cultivation of <em>E. coli<\/em> strains for cloning, production of DNA, plasmid DNA and recombinant proteins.<\/p>\n<p>Our 1x Instant LB is based on the Lennox formulation, one of the most commonly
